Some well-equipped schools offer rentals – check with your chosen school before booking.

Do I need to have previous riding experience?

You must be experienced enough to ride to the location of the course on your own. No extensive experience is required, but having basic control over a motorcycle or scooter will help you feel more comfortable.

How long does it take to get the motorcycle license?

After completing the mandatory basic course, your learner’s permit is extended for to 14 months. You must pass a practical riding test within this time to obtain your full motorcycle license.

Can I ride a motorcycle if I have a category B (car) license?

If you have a category B (car) license, you can ride an A1 motorcycle (125cc, max 11kW) without passing an exam. However, you must complete a mandatory basic course.
